I knew at that point that her careless efforts to maintain my sons safety on a very hot and rough beach day, carefully selecting her seashells never once glancing up to get visuals on her patient, was ”hopped up”on either alcohol or pills or a heavy cocktail including but not limited to both or even ”all of the above”. She passed out and snored from our first minute driving home well into our stop in my driveway. I brought the kids in and told my husband what just happened as he was returning home from work a few minutes prior to us getting there.
What I am about to disclose to you will blow your mind. But trust and believe, I have met every kind of nurse. I think the nurses that work within peoples’ houses may quite possibly be an altogether ”breed of their own”. Oh, and a quick mention, to all of you nurses’ reading, I have ultimate respect for your career and profession. But if by chance I am on target about the ”in-home” nurses; after reading this-i would love to hear your opinions about them differentiating from the rest of you!!!!
