After he got settled in with me- I told him about that guy always calling me up and possibly being the one who threw that rock into the room. So my new roommate tells me that the next time that guy calls- I was to give him the phone and let him take care of it. That jerk did call up one night- and I told him that somebody else now lives in that room with me. I then handed the phone to my roommate- and he said several things to really annoy that guy. That made him hang up- and he finally NEVER called our room ever again.
My girlfriend had been having a lot of stomach issues, and would get pain almost every time she ate. She was 21 at this time and the issue had bee going on for a couple of years and steadily getting worse. She had talked to her GP about it several times and he finally told her “ it was all in her head”. So, she had been to visit me one weekend and left about 3 am Monday morning to make the 235mi trip home. About 4:30 she called me in tears. She was 80 miles away at a gas station. She said she was in so much pain she had to go to the hospital but was scared to go alone.
So I jumped in the car with my mom and went to get her, were it back just before 8. At 9 we were at the office of a family friend who is a surgeon. They did some evaluation and sent her next door for an ultrasound. We went back and he told us her gallbladder was probably going to rupture and had to come out. They admitted her to the hospital and scheduled her surgery for the next morning. The surgery went well, but we were both surprised when he showed is the PILE of 130 something stones that were in her gallbladder. It was about two cups in volume of stones. He said no wonder she was in agony.
The pool I have my water polo tournaments, practices and games at doesn’t really have an “enclosed” space for to change without people actually seeing us, we aren’t really comfortable because there would most likely be someone older than us looking at us which is something that happens often. So we were looking for a stall and my friends parent who gave me a ride to the pool was starting to rush because my friend had a tutoring session with someone and I had to go with them because I’m was going to their house to eat dinner as well.
So we were in a rush and the stalls were almost all occupied, we couldn’t wait much longer so we both went into the same stall. We both are very close friends so we didn’t really care about what we expose so we just changed and then left. It was 6:00pm and I was sitting in my room sketching. My father had been in a bad mood all day, so I was trying to stay away from him.(He had a bad temper and would get violent). I hear my phone ding, and I looked down at it. I saw that the text was from him. I opened it and read it. I shrugged it off, he says stuff like that about me all the time.
We were in a fight. I had misplaced a significant amount of money. And we have been under a lot of stress due to becoming homeless and a car that keeps breaking down. In a moment of pure frustration he said “That he wished he had never met me”. I’m still stunned and have not told him how much it’s affected me. This was about 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure if I should ask him about it or not. We are doing okay right now.
