They’re there either for a shot at a career as a singer or for 15 minutes of fame. It’s not sad. They know what time it is. And I’ll bet bad singers are still showing up. They’re just not showing it for some inexplicable reason. I used to watch for auditions and then would get pumped up and watch the season. Now I don’t bother to watch at all and the one time that I tried I learned my mistake. Zach Shaw me too. I laughed so hard at the ones who seriously thought that they were good. Thought he was there to support his friend? Don’t be a Salty bitch shirt. I’m not saying he isn’t good because he is. Alot of people are not going to remember her because of him. I definitely feel like they made a mistake when Laine lost. However, I feel that it was a lack of respect for the girl’s audition. I am also appalled that after Laines performance , it was upsetting for them to tell him that he could win over his friends sister that had just auditioned. At 18 years old I dont blame Laine at jumping at the opportunity, but it would have spoken volumes for his integrity had he withheld and gave the girl her earned and deserved spotlight for her moment. He could have auditioned either elsewhere or for now declined. But I don’t possess such a beautiful talent either so I cant speak for him. Just an observation.
