This is my Fullmetal Alchemist Fusion shirt and I get something new out of it each time I watch it. It’s a show that will literally never bore me. I’ve seen so many shows going back to the original ghost in the shell, Evangelion, Yuyu Hakusho and flames of Recca. The fact that the background is actual ground, grass, dirt, trees, crags, vistas, rather than a generic blur of color, is by far the most impressive thing about this scene to me.
As much as I love Brotherhood I love the 03 one more. That’s the one I started with and really fell in love with the whole show. Very special. They seem to be hard to find on any of the subscription services and I just can’t watch the dubbed version – I’ve tried. It was so satisfying to finally let loose with some alchemical badassery that was more creative and effective than most of the other alchemists in the show.
