I agree with Jack Skellington I just baked you some shut the Fucupcakes shirt. It is isolating when people go for the food but it’s the safest way for me. I do think there needs to be more awareness though so it would be more possible for me to trust other people. Ellen Gardner Fast food places employ counter staff that does not have the knowledge unfortunately, poor man R.I.P. So expecting a restaurant (a chef or the manager not a server) to know what is in the foods it serves is reasonable. They should know. They should be able to check the packaging and find out.

Think about every single time you eat something each day that you did not prepare from scratch. And then remember that you must check all the from-scratch ingredients labels for possible cross-contamination or to see if they’ve changed their “recipe” to include a food to allergic to…let’s say your sour cream or yogurt now contains some almond milk as a thickening agent when it never did before…and then you get to check each and every item every time you buy it (although you’ve purchased that brand of item a zillion times before) to make sure it’s not: 1) had a formulation change (almond milk etc as listed above) OR 2) is now made in a factory where cross-contamination with an allergen is now possible even though that wasn’t the way it was made before.
