The gloves are for the worker’s protection. If cross-contamination occurs they are better protected. They throw their gloves away and don’t take it home with them. I said the other day as the cashier was getting ready to pack up my stuff. I stopped her and said I’ll do it. I now use the self check out, make sure I don’t use my phone until I’m back home, wipe down the steering wheel, clean my hands, and I sanitize everything when I’m home. Then bleach my phone and shower after all that. Can someone clarify the difference between cross-contaminating with gloves on and cross-contamination with your bare hands?
