It started initially with 10 billion £..now around 100 billion…crazy…other nations have built similar projects in more challenging landscapes for less.

Andrew English Hopefully the Brits get China to help them build it. China has the largest rail network in the world. If you take the total of KM of rail laid in the world…China has more than that. How likely is it, that the current government will still be in the office by the end of the year? Andrew Colman If money is short, cancel Brexit, it is a huge waste of public money for no tangible benefits. Liz Coe Pity they wouldn’t put some money into travel infrastructure in rural areas… People without cars in areas like Cornwall especially n Cornwall are as isolated as they were 40years ago… And before that in the 60s at least we had a train service.
