I start from the top and methodically work my way down from his head and neck across his shoulders and arms, then down his torso to his waistband. Finally I place my foot against the inside of his and begin to work from the ground up, first one leg, then switch my own stance in order to repeat the procedure for the other leg. I had just reached up past his right knee when he jumped and spun around again taking a bladed stance again as he got ready to fight.
I direct him to stand facing away from me with feet wider than his shoulders and his arms extended out from his sides. Taped to the inside of his thigh was a rather large weapon, and I had been just short of feeling it as I was working my way up his leg. He further admitted that he hadn’t wanted to get involved, but had been told that if he didn’t do as he was told, there’d be one with his name on it in the future.
