If you were to put a Star of David on your lunch box and on every cover and bag inside that lunch box, they would know it was not their lunch and so would everyone else. I did this to my lunch and it never got stolen. However, there is also a special powder that will stick to a person and make their fingers turn colors. I don’t know what its called but, it would catch the culprit or culprits. I would then call the police and get them involved. Stealing is still stealing.
One day it was my turn. I can’t even remember what I said that made her mad but I think it was talking when I shouldn’t have. She had a wooden stool in the front right corner of the classroom. She asked me to come up there and took a cloth diaper and folded it into a triangle the put it under my chin and tied it in a knot on top of my head and told me to sit there so my classmates could all see what a baby I was. Anyway, there was a girl named Julie in my class that was a gifted singer, she sang at events and school things but often hummed or sang quietly to herself while she worked. Mrs. Atkins was not a fan. She would pinch the top of Julie’s little hands with her fingernails to make her stop, sometimes making her bleed.
